The education system is subjected to research and analysis to meet the present challenges and to open avenues for the required measures. India education policy needs to undergo several rounds of research to reach at par with current requirements so that education provided penetrates deep into different class of society and to the remotest areas of the country.

Types of Research Required

To underline, there are mainly two types of research that should be conducted as per the education research foundation. The first kind of research involves the one which is conducted within the education being disseminated to students. This includes the education of thoughts and issues, the goal of education, and the views of the students, teachers and other involved communities.

The second kind of education research involves the concerns and issues in education from the perspective of other disciplines. This type of research involves the lead of social policy rather than the field of education. This kind of research is done by thought leaders, economists, political scientists, sociologists and scholars from the relevant and related intellectual backgrounds.

It has been found in the overall research that in the current Indian context, there is little to offer when we consider former kind of research. And on the other hand, the second kind gets extra attention of policymakers and the public at large. Ultimately the latter type of research falls on the focus of debates around the critical issues and the politics web around it and the importance to the reality of education left empty handed.
